JOB TYPE: Appointed by the WMA Council
NAME: Mervi KATTELUS, seconded by the Finnish Medical Association since August 2022
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• General legal advisor advising independently the President, the Chair of Council and
the Secretary General on legal matters.
• Parliamentary counsel of the Executive Committee meetings, Council and General
Assembly sessions.
• General legal advisor on legal issues for WMA Secretariat especially related to EU
legislation.
